j/k. if you dont have a good amount of ground figthing ability in your personal arsenal. then you need to learn some. other wise your fucked i fyou fall to the ground and cant grapple.
BJJ is the brazilian flavor of the once solely japanese art of JU-Jitsu Meaning “Gentle way”. BJJ’ focus is largely on ground techniques, however most BJJ schools also do judo. to help with what to do before you go to the ground.
the good schools do knuckle pushups on sand paper, they train on cement floors. and for you tests you have to wrestle on broken glass. they have to make up for all the hugging of men.
