Built a care pack for a struggling friend: coffee and a mug, relaxing face masks, a few other bits and pieces. They’ve done similar for me in the past, so I’m returning the favour.

Seen clients and now writing before walking the dog. Got Judo and a strength session at the gym this evening.

Injections tomorrow so that’s neat.

I’m finding as i separate more from people I do not care for as presences in my life, the more I am drawn to be my best self.

600 words of the novel done. This is fast approaching it’s conclusion. Judo last night was 90 minutes of randori after technical. Im confident I can at least survive the charity 100 man kumite, but how many fights I’ll win is another thing.

Clients tonight, training and more clients before shift tomorrow. A lot of food to be eaten today to make up calories. I am tired

Been in touch with british judo’s events group, and they are interested in raising awareness for the charity work I’m doing.

Morning client, I had my own tough session after. A new client starts tonight. Need to shower, finish writing and do my shifts. My fucks to give on the cleaning are gone now that I am 9 days away from never having to do it again.

Oppenheimer/Barbie combo this weekend with friends.

Had a rather beefy few days with food to re-energize. Been thinking a lot recently about how life has changed so much since the lockdown, friends I don’t hear from, people I’ve just not seen in a long time. Not in a sad way, more as a reflection of how life is constant change, and that’s the only constant.

It’s freaky to think I’ll be able to have my first weekends off without booking them as holiday in 3 years. That’s insane to me.

Orbit Culture.

If you’re a metalhead, you should love it.

Yes this will be part of the mixtape I’m playing at the judo event to stay hype, no you will not stop me

Iggy Pop prefers this version to his own.

It’s the end credit song to ā€œI, Tanyaā€, over footage of Harding blasting and landing multiple triple axels.

in 7 hours, my final shift ends and I am pure PT. No more mopping, scrubbing, fixing equipment, no more dealing with toilets and needles in the bins, no more being pestered by members, just purely what I signed up for.

1 month to the fight, gaining 15 hours back a week means Im going to be trying to hit my peak as hard as possible, complete the gauntlet and then, finally, begin my coaching qualifications.

Marble_Machine. That shit slaps.

First weekend off in years… I haven’t known what to do with myself. It’s odd.

I expect the final few rounds to feel like I’m getting bodied this hard
