Ironically, the most important fight was the arguably most boring one.
Aldo vs Faber: Excellent tactic, and a vicious beating for Faber, but nothing too spectacular. Why the fight wasn’t ended in the cross situation, I personally wonder.
In sum though, the best Zuffa card, even though I spent 26 $ to end up watching it on a pirate stream. :XXphyhsas:nobodycar

I hate to say it, but after the whole Strikeforce thing, I was glad to have Joe and Goldy back. The rest of the production crew too, it’s great not seeing brawls and being rushed for time and all that.
Jung = robbed royally. I scored that an easy two point victory for Jung. Good fight though and Garcia has heart as well.
I’m new to WEC but it’s made a fan of me with the last two events.
I don’t have TV and none of the bars around here were showing it, so I’m pretty ticked that I missed it. Looks like the card was everything it should have been, though.

I would of thought Brown would have done better for longer but Manny IS an animal! If it wasn’t for his shoulder, he would be further along.

I too think Jung should have won that fight. He did more damage in the first few rounds and was in pursuit the entire fight. But Garcia did come alive and smackdown Jung pretty well. If one of those haymakers would of landed well it could have changed it, but he was swingin air and Jung was countering fantastically! Garcia also missed all those high kicks, I wish he would have lowered them. He was bombin’ away, it was killler.
Awesome fight with THREE rounds of Non Stop flurry, no matter how sloppy, that was energetic as hell.
Aldo is cemented!! He controlled the shit out of that fight. At the end of the third round Faber could barely walk and Aldo was still fresh as a daisy, impressive. And a class competitor too.
Who wants to bet that if that was the UFC the fight would have been stopped, even though Faber was still bridging and slightly defending?
All these guys fought their hearts out, we just haven’t seen it much in the UFC lately because everyone is busy dancing respectfully (or disrespectfully in Ando’s case) around their opponent lookin for the KO or guillotine! (in general).
I got to watch both of my daughters dominate in soccer and volleyball yesterday, then watch my teammates of (this time half the team was busy) 5 guys take 10 medals at the Rupture Houston Jiu Jitsu Champ. tourney, THEN saw two live MMA fights of a local eight fight MMA night after the Rupture tourney, THEN hauled ass to the bar to watch the WEC!!!
FREEKIN AWESOMELY HISTORIC FIGHT DAY FOR ME without leaving any marks!
AND I met some of the Rupture guys… GREAT DUDES. They not only have some of the best gear made, but it is made in the USA, its affordable and they support local fighters like crazy!!
