The sparring sounds like shit. Sorry, but it’s true. I’ve never seen or heard of a school that “eased” you into sparring and still did it well. And I don’t mean light contact to hard contact, I mean creating different sparring “games” to prepare you for the “real thing”.
He didnt mention any games , he said they started very slowy - at a reaction speed perceptible to a beginner - and then ramped it up from there .
That last comment is sooooooo stupid. If that really happened, he could have just demonstrated some sparring. Reffering to anecdotal evidence is a sign that he is full of BS. Or maybe he is telling the truth, and like cut himself with a weapon or ran into a wall.

A “flowing Drill” can be somethimg as Simple as throwing a Hook/cross combo , having your partner Slip them , then having them Return the Combo .
But traininglike thay dosnety “work” I guess … unless youre , well , ever boxer EVAR .

What differernce does that make unless hes going to compete in NAGA ? Hes not looking to become a Sportfighting Champion , hes looking to get Self Defense for himself and his wife .
