there is so much wrong with that statement its scary first of all if its multiple opponents NOTHING works and as for the pure striker vs pure bjj , bjj wins even though mma pwns all and thats all you should do (ive done a few classes but cant find a mma school this time of year)

This is an old post, but I feel obliged to say:

a four second choke is quick enough to fuck up someone rasslin around on the ground…in spite of friends you assume were there. It’s not just about choking though…body mechanics, especially off one’s feet, are very fucking important. Knowing them, can help you get back up, or stay up in the first place…not to mention twisting, breaking, etc.
