Two more Kuk Sool Won 2nd Degree Black Belts! YAY CONGRATS!!

Belting good result for Dye family

A belting success for the Dyes.

15 March 2007

TWO members of the Attleborough Kuk Sool Won Martial Arts Club were presented with their 2nd Dan black belts recently.

Michael and Michelle Dye, father and daughter, have been training for about eight years to get to this level and Michael is an inspiration to all at the club as he started training at the age of 55 and is now over 60.

This goes to show that exercise and martial arts are not just for the young.

Andy Gillingwater, who runs clubs at Attleborough Sports Hall, has trained over 20 people to the level of black belt in the 10 years the club has been in Attleborough.

My congratulations to this father/daughter team. I didn’t begin martial arts until I was 35. It’s good to find someone who began when they were 20 years older than I was and stuck with it. :happy4:
