tough guy wannabes at park

today i was trying to break a fight in park between two friends of my brother after 10mins of holding a friend down and reasoning he finally stopped the other one keep hitting everyone so i had to put him in an armlock after i let go a guy came over and ask me to do that to him and he will break my face. thanks to them one of my friends have a busted face and a beating.

in this situation should i just fight if he is asking for trouble again or what

well thanks i think me and my friends better start training seriously and start bringing weapons to park

Welcome to Bullshido, the best Martial Arts forum on the entire Internet, truepwrz. Seriously, you won’t regret your choice to join us. We’re a great bunch of folks, except for Hannibal. And Sirc. And TaiGip. And MMA Kid. And… well, you get the point.

You have over 300 posts and you are posting in Newbtown?

i suppose it’s a good place if you want serious answers and not alot of joking around.

unfortunately… not alot of people look in here.

He doesn’t want us to thrash his thread. Pussah

stop hanging around with fuckwits

That’s pretty cool.
What type of armlock did you do?

Best advice…ever.

carry a little stick and stop being a dumbshit.

Young grasshopper, before you can master the ways of martial mysticism, you must first master the arts of punctuation.

So says sifu pong

After 10 posts you should have the ability to start new threads in newbie town taken away. Is the YMAS forum very scary? Not pink and fluffy enough?

Re: the title of this thread.

I’m glad you’re introspective enough to accurately describe you and your friends.

That kind of insight is rare for 15 year olds.

I think taking weapons to the park is a great idea! Instead of one friend with a busted face you could have had:

 Multiple people injured
A trip to the emergency room
 Stiches
 a ride in a police car. :car8:
 Criminal charges
 Civil lawsuits
and a bunch of new, close friends in jail.

Look at all the fun you missed out on!:toothy5:

:bsflag:

Summer Vacation and bored already, eh?

Fuck ya. You should bring a handgun and make those motherfuckers recognize.
It’s your park you defend that shit. Don’t let no one step up into your turf brother!

That’s interesting…with most friends I have if two were to start arguing I could just get in between and yell “take it easy” a few times and all stops or starts to stop…

At what point would you say getting involved in mates arguing by armbaring one of them does that stretch the friendship? Do you think at the point of arm bar? At the tapout? or at the time you decided you were going to come strapped with the chrome next time you met up with said friend?

Just curious.

A while back I would watch the local highschool gangs fight after school at the rec center. The most common weapon was by far the novelty tiny baseball bat. The mostly just kept fistfights in order. There was also someone with a rock in a sock, and a dude with a balisong. I watched one fight where a guy started attacking with a belt. The other guy charged and beat the shit out of him. Another time a homeless guy attacked another with a beer can and then a big rock. The armed guy got the shit beat out of him. My overall thought: if you aren’t trained with a weapon, good luck not getting rushed and beaten. My other thought: some unarmed skills can be better to have than a weapon and no skills.
Usually, carrying a weapon in your situation is a bad idea. A bunch of kids looking to give some black eyes is not the same as bringing a weapon into play.

i did a hammerlock on my friend.

nick… i really dont think i was aiming for a tapout but if i let him go and ask for a fight with another friend that other friend would just downright kill him. well we carry weapons just incase they do

hey school is about to end and we can only hang out in the park

but when things get out of controll i can only count on that little grappling ability i have to try and stop a fight

You have much to learn, grasshoppa.

Now snatch the Naruto DVD from my palm.

In all seriousness, fighting is the last thing you should do. Fighting outside the ring is for criminals and angry early teens with headphones full of Linkin Park.

Well definitely good on ya trying to break up a fight. About the dude who threatened to fuck you up: do you think he actually could? If not, you really don’t have anything to worry about. If so, start carrying a chainsaw.
