If you like art, grappling, or are just a fan of graphic depictions of sweaty man-on-man action, check out Jet Fuel cafe on Parliament. There is an exhibit here by Rick McCarthy with sketches, and large canvases with scenes from training at Shah Franco.

The throwdown forum? What?
There’s been local event stuff here for Toronto in the past. I thought this would be of interest to the local community. We don’t seem to have any throwdowns posted here anymore, so maybe drum up some interest…
If not here, there should be some place to local events of interest…
Then start a thread in the Support forum asking for an OT area. This is for an art show. Grappling forum, Basic Technique forum, YMAS, The VIP-lounge, Sociocide, Sheerdog, LL,L and News.
The TD forum is for sparring meet-ups. This, no matter how you feel, is not for a sparring meet-up.
I’m cool with a stricter enforcement on TD forum… I was just going by some things I’ve seen in the past, like fundraiser parties.
I could kinda, sorta, almost see the point of a local forum for non-TD, non-tournament, but my guess is that there wouldn’t really be enough posts.
