my message to be circulated locally

I just finished a 3 page message about TA and I will circulate it in my country. I indicated links to TA testimony, indicated where his book cand be acquired, indicated this thread etc, indicated where to see the DVD ‘with proof’ provided by TA. My message is focused on 2 main things (in my opinion):

  1. 3 times world Kung Fu title - because this is the catch of TA evangelistic events; nobody comes to see Ta because he is good at explaining the Bible, but because he was seemingly an expert in Kung Fu
  2. his crimes, brutal and unnecesary many times (by his own admission in video testimonies) - because this is the basis of the magnitude of his transformation after conversion to faith.
    I left aside unclear accusations like stealing biblical courses etc.
    My conclusion in the message was that TA failed to provide hard evidence about no 1 and that his behavious is not consistent with a Christian attitude towards no 2. Then the readers are invited to make a decision for themselves if Tony is a liar or a wonderful preacher.
    What do you think. Is it fair enough ?

Many of the people posting here are martial artists and most are adults.

I hope this doesn’t sound condescending but I suddenly felt a bit concerned about your safety.

The fact is that none of us know for sure who Tony Anthony is and what exactly is going on at Avanti Ministries, but there is a lot of cause for concern. It is entirely possible that there is a threat to the safety of people who are sticking their necks out re this.

The last thing we should be doing is encouraging a 16 year old person to put themselves at any risk re this.

I hope you don’t mind if I ask you to just stop for a while so we can all think about how best to proceed with this.

It may be, for example, that we can use your 3 page message, but that you are not the one to post / distribute it

I’m really insanely busy right now and I don’t have the time to think properly re this, but please let’s just stop and think for a moment as I do not want you getting yourself into any trouble.

I had a great idea this morning. While you are dropping your eviscerated chickens down chimneys this year, why not strap a copy of Taming the Tiger to some of them and do special visits to all those prominent posters here who haven’t even bothered to read TA’s book?

That wasn’t an insult, that was a statement of fact. Additionally no one has asked me any questions, in fact, as we’ve stated before, the person that actually needs to answer questions, is squirming away to avoid doing so. Why should I answer any questions, since I have not made any outlandish and improbable claims to be asked questions about?

I would also underline that TA story is very embarassing as directly or indirectly he:

  • charges some Saudi ambassador with involvement in illegal gambling and illegal debt collection - I know that one of us contacted the Embassy in UK
  • misinforms on IKF and suggests they were involved in bodyguards training etc

First off, I don’t want to get an inbox full of those stupid posts. Secondly, it’s much easier for the mods to watch his activity in a public forum. Thirdly, he wouldn’t anyway, the whole point of those posts are to attempt to deflect the thread from the attention on TA, and to generate an internal conflict in the thread.

However, this is Bullshido, and that tactic is very, very common and obvious.

OK. Here is where I am coming from: I am angry about the injustice of SC’s posts. On her own admission she is blinded by prejudice, has not even had the decency to read the main source material (the Book) before making her claims and suppositions into statements of fact, and she therefore has no credibility whatsoever.

She is now stooping to new lows by posting links to articles about convicted Christian paedophiles - with the object of achieving what else, other than the creation of an association in people’s minds between Tony Anthony and paedophilia.

That is outrageous.

My advice to her is to devote herself to her chicken delivery service, and to desist from pretending to be some sort of clever private investigator. She shows no concern whatsoever for the people she is hurting - namely the wife and family of TA and his close associates.

Terraform and Filehelp seem to be doing good work, and I would encourage them to continue in it wholeheartedly. I would though respectfully caution Filehelp to refrain from making “statements of fact” that are still unproven.

Overseas, I would urge you, if you have not done so already, to at least read the Book, before continuing your campaign against TA and Avanti as a result of your own instincts.

Do not look to this thread to provide you with accurate information about TA. It is chock full of exaggeration and distortion.

Let me for the record tell you where I am coming from. I am only interested in establishing the truth.

I need to be absolutely certain that he is a fraud before I take further action.

There are matters that can be proved beyond doubt, quite easily, as I have shown in previous posts.

But I suspect that there is a reluctance to do so because prejudiced posters on this forum fear that if these matters were proven, and the outcome was not favourable to their position, it would weaken their case against TA.

That is dishonest.

To date there has not been one shred of proveable evidence against him produced on this forum.

The arguments used against him here are full of prejudice, bias, personal opinion and the such like. For the most part this thread is nothing other than a Mediaeval witch-hunt.

I will deal with the issue of whether or not TA is in law a “serial killer” and “murderer”, as SC repeatedly asserts, in a later post.

I will continue to challenge prejudiced, unproven and slanderous nonsense whenever it appears in this thread.

I would encourage you to meet with Tony if at all possible, as you are not far away geographically, and to let us know how you get on. I believe you have a sincere desire to arrive at the truth in this matter.

Have you found any of the Christian organisations mentioned previously willing to take up this investigation?
