You’re right it’s in the opening title squence of Kung Fu. Putting the cauldron on the other platform opened the door of monestry allowing Caine to stagger out and collapse on the ground, cooling his arms in the snow outside. It was a “rite of passage” sequence.
I have had a burn mark on my arm for well over 10 years, from touching something much less hot than a red hot cauldron. Burn marks could be removed through surgery, if they were small enough and you could be bothered.
The brand on my arse has almost faded in 6 years and an extreme scald on my inner arm from an accident with a steam jet cleaner is invisible except under UV light after 15.
Filehelp: You have done a great job so far, let’s hope we’ll get some clarification. I still regret that I did not confront him, when he was in Denmark
When I emailed Malcolm he said that he would check these facts over with Anthony, so I imagine that is Antony’s answers. When i challenged the information the second time Malcolm recommended I talk directly to Tony about it.
I’m quite certain about the facts I have of Caponey in prison. At the moment some people from Cyprus I have made contact with are clarifying Caponeys sentences dates.
Why i am focusing on the dates is because the meeting of Caponey was a key feature to the book and one, when proven as a lie, will be evidence enough for most people concerning Tony.
Tony’s exact release date was stated in the book as 11 November 1992
“I’m sorry I can’t answer that for security reasons”
Yea this is what most people would do in this situation. That’s why im trying to focus on things such as the dates of prison terms, and his relationship with people such as Ian Davidson.
Although the facts about the IKFF are obviously ridiculous he could give the answers of “I’m sorry I can’t answer that for security reasons” therefore I believe are time is better spent on topics that can’t be countered with the quote.
With all respect to those reading that have religious views, at the end of the day his target audience is a group of people, willing, eagerly so, to believe in something which not only there is little physical evidence for, but is also highly improbable. In comparison, him bumping into a rare, but real, species of animal, is actually pretty likely.
And these people want to believe, the more folk like this they believe the more it reinforces their faith. Start doubting and where do you end up? I think it’s worthwhile disproving this as much as possible, simply because it’s right, but I doubt ‘they’ will listen, but it’s fun for everyone else to see it and say “I knew it was bullshit, but there’s the proof!”
Yoj: Actually, also non christians with no christian background at all believes in his story.
Don’t think it’s only christians, but you are right, we tend to be less critical and in this situation not critical at all. I can’t even get people to see that there is a huge credibility problem at the least.
Stubbe78, i didn’t mean to cause offence to you or your cousin. I’m just frustrated that the tiger thing has been so belaboured when it’s so obvious that it’s untrue. Littleoldme’s post about big cats cheered me up, though! Why were you not going to share this insight, Littleoldme, when it’s so good? And Filehelp, what email address did you use for Tony? My email of three days ago was returned to me because his contact link on the Avanti site was down. It still is, it’s been down for three days now.
Stubbe78, it may hearten you to know that the two lengthiest and most articulate reviews on amazon.co.uk, damning Anthony’s book, have both been written by Christian martial artists.
