ZOMG AWESOME!@124 gsd tc x
ALSO:
That part at the end where it crashes into the sea was an awesome little bit of, “Oooooohhhhhhhhhh, I Seeeeeeeeee.”
I liked it, but I found the ending a tad abrupt. A little text wrapping things up would’ve been great.
I know what you mean.
I’m a little torn on that one, though:
I actually found it refreshing that either
A) everybody died
or
B) you don’t know their fate
Did you wait for the olbligatory after-credits scene?
Nope, what happened?
I’m all for A and B actually, but I could’ve used a conclusion so far as the overall story goes.
Well, that’s where the last bit comes into play.
The last bit (before the credits) has a scene that supposedly has the monster crashing into the water from outer space. It’s when they’re at coney island and she says, “Today was a good day.” I noticed SOMETHING, but It only caught my eye briefly.
AFTER the credits, you hear some static and a guy say something like, “Help us. God help us all.” On top of that, if you wanna get into uber-geekdom (and I do, trust me), it you play that last bit backwards, it’s supposed to say, “It’s still alive.”
Lily’s copter escapes, doesn’t it?
To sum up this film: The Blairzilla Miracle Mile Project.
Her helicopter takes off, and that’s the end of her story arc. Maybe Clover went on a helicopter spree, maybe he just nailed the one the camera was in.
