The only thing of note that I’ve made is a kayak. Some weapons, I guess. I made a flail out of some chain and a ring gear and took a piece of my calf off with it. I made a stun gun that was successful in zapping me a bunch of times in the process. I ‘made’ some pretty good weed once and oil a few times. That’s about it, and I don’t have any purdy pictures of any of it.
I used to make kusari fundos when I was a backyard ninja in high school. A 3 foot length of dog chain, two six inch pipes and two cotter pins. I don’t have any pics, but if you go to the police department here in town I bet they still have the one they confiscated from me back then in the display case with all the other contraband weapons they picked up over the years.
I made a hovercraft from a 48" round piece of wood and a leafblower (got the plans online). I also just made sockmonkeys for my kids that came out pretty decent.
Made a catapult with one of my kids over the Christmas holidays, reno’d the interior of my entire house, and I’m always making wooden knives for my class.
And on the less tool-oriented making things front, working on a novel, and get an article or two published every year (with one or two more typically sitting in some editor’s slush-pile).
