Blame the cultists running the GOP.
They are literally voting for a twice impeached, convicted and unsentenced white collar criminal, who was also found guilty of sexual abuse.

It’s not that the right means better than the left.
It’s that people are easy to manipulate when they let their tvs and cell phones override their critical thinking skills.
For example, all of the 5 Eyes agree on this issue, but barely half of US voters believe them anymore.
I don’t know if this coincides with being in the middle but there are issues that everyone who is democrat I know agrees with but all the republicans say it’s their belief. My mother and I were watching a republican advertisement and she was saying no one on the democrat side believes that and I was telling her there are plenty of people on the left who do. Like I said everyone I know who votes as a democrat believes these issues but it isn’t enough to make them to switch to the republican side.
I was talking to my republican friend and I was saying how I believe in a particular issue and he was saying are you sure you’re a democrat because those are republican talking points. Every democrat I know believes in the opinion I was talking to my republican friend about. I’m not going to discuss what those issues are because there are plenty of threads on the site discussing them.
That is kind of correct.
The best way to radicalise people is to create an enemy they fear.
And these memes are consistent in that approach.
