Fixed.
Seems like we all love the Gurkhas, but what’s that at 2:52 ?
They’re Gurkhas, they can do what they fucking want. You tell them TKD is shit…

Y’know, the one wearing stars and stripes underpants?
What? Who posted the video? Gotta be some hacker…
Ah guess I shouldn’t have replaced one oversimplification with another. Anyway, the whole regions a fucking mess (as that chart floating around the net shows). Lots of shit stirrers+saudi money+pakistani intelligence meddling=so many problems it’ll never be “fixed” like some wishful thinkers believe it will be.

Eh we didn’t have a whole lot directly to do with the rise of the Taliban. Yeah we packed up and went home after the Soviets left, leaving the area basically unwatched and we poured shitloads of munitions into the area which they surely benefited from, but they didn’t get US support the same way they got support from others.
Anyway enough of a threadjack, Gurkhas are cool.
I suppose the ambiguity here is that the Taleban used to be the lawful authority in Afghanistan. Granted, that was ten years ago, so they pretty much count as insurgents anyway. I’m too lazy to start figuring out if there’s an actual standard for deposing a foreign government and/or the entire political system of a country.
Recent history proves you’re not alone.
I was thinking cut off head and hand to bring back, you think they would have been pissed at me.
Cut off head and one hand (r) hand to bring back.
Step 1: Export Walmarts, Starbucks, and McDonalds.
Step 2: ???
Step 3: Victory.
Hola
Laughing at some of the articles. Great stuff.
cool thread
A quick 2cents. I served in the army reserves in the US, not in any combat zones, and I’m currently out, but I seem to remember that we had classes on following the rules of the Geneva Convention. In those classes, it was clear that the rules applied first and foremost to the soldier, meaning that it didn’t really matter who the enemy was. You don’t get to desecrate corpses no matter the reason (however valid). If you do, you may be disciplined.
Do we know the extent of the punishment the Ghorka soldier received? I don’t know if UK standards and punishments are different than our own for infractions against the GC, I’m just curious.
Why would a picture not be a suitable substitute? It would probaly be easier to id a pic of a recentally dead person than the body of a long dead one.

Yeah because every soldier carries a laptop loaded with design software.

Yeah, because one can only change digital pictures on the spot. Really, I’m amazed - I’m not defending decapitation here, just trying to get through a point about photography not being the pinnacle of evidence.
Winner!
The nail - hit it on the Head - you have.
Well done, sir. Huzzah!
