I have a little more faith in the sense of duty the US secretive service and others responsible for protecting others in the US have than perhaps you do.
Literally hundreds of times over the years including on here I have seen and heard when talking to members of the US military “I strongly disagree with what he is saying but I would give my life to protect his right to say it”

But Trump is particularly more dangerous dead than alive. That successful shot might actually start Civil War II. I wouldn’t have believe it ten years ago. It’s hard to truly understand the span and depth of his cult for most people, they’re just not willing to accept how dreadful it is, on a generational level.
The point I was trying to make was that Trump is pissing off the wrong people and someone is eventually going to take him out. I give him a year at most.
