I was wondering if anyone could explain this art better for me. i’ve tried to find clips of it, but I found very few if any video clips on Taekkyon. I have also been noticing that many Taekkyon practioners on their web-sites have a great disdain for taekwondo, I was hoping some one could clarify why a little better than the things I’ve read. I started to get interested in this art as I found it on a Korean website, which says that taekwondo is a modern martial art and has nothing to do with Taekkyon (I know that taekwondo is not 2000 years old.) I think this art would be fun to learn
Are you talking about the ancient Taekkyon or the the modern game version of it?
what is the differance between the two and are both still taught

The guy who started this thread was a student o Taekkyon and has some good information in there.
I believe The Wastrel was the only person here who actually practiced the art. Cant say more than that.
