Steven Seagal threatened with lawsuit

Prediction for Internet posterity:
If this goes to court, it will be made obvious that the guy is guilty of the cockfighting charges against him, but Steven Seagal will weave a dramatic web of lies where he is the hero, and as the defendant he will lose credibility and may lose over that and overall douchebaggery.

If it doesn’t go to court, its because the guy realized that he can’t convince people that he wasn’t running a cockfighting ring when there’s dozens of dead fighting birds. I doubt the public would be too sympathetic to his animal rights complaints when the evidence strongly suggests that he’s way into animals fighting.

Ideally, Seagal will listen to his lawyers and shut the fuck up as much as possible and let the evidence speak for itself, devoid of lunge-punching-minorities as it may be.

Personally I thought he should have been threatened with a lawsuit for his role as “Torrez” & acting in the 2010 movie Machete.

When will these Hollywood Samurai wanne-be r’tards stop using Japanese Swords in fight scenes that are in “Shirasaya” (storage) mountings???

Elaborate for the non-sword people plz.

Seagal, considering that he collects swords and claims proficiency with the aikikatana should know something like this, rite?

Like this

This sword is not mounted for use, its mounted for storage, to keep the blade in good condition while new fittings are made for it, or old are repaired. But some tards think it looks cool to use it in shirasaya on films etc, which is dumb, really dumb.

Ah yes. What you mean
I do see now - also with
The aid of Google

i could see a situation where one would have to fight with a katana mounted shirasaya, but that situation is never implied in those movies.

i think it may be influenced by the zatoichi films, with his sword-cane work

Thanks for the response posts before I got back to this.

Yes I know this link is to Wikepedia - but for a two-minute background read it is not that bad an article.

It is true that the sword blade is what does the cutting no matter what the fittings/mountings. The koshirae have a independent collectable art aspects all to themselves, e.g., tsuba (guard) habaki (collar) etc. Any knowledgeable collector would not put perfume on a pig – thousands of dollars of top quality koshirae on a unremarkable blade – nor would you install “economy” koshirae on an appraised $200,000 17th century masterpiece blade by a noted smith.

Back in the day when swords were actually used for killing what hilt wrappings did the Samurai utilize? I think it is telling that the classic diamond shaped pattern wrappings made of silk or leather must of had some utility purpose.

Perhaps because on battlefields it would sometimes be raining?! Not to mention the fluid byproducts of wide-spread human carnage.

A lacquered wood hilt may not be that practical, no? With those elements along with muscle fatigue the (tsuba) guard functions, as noted, as much to prevent your hand from slipping onto your own blade as to any possible parry protection.

But if you are just sitting at a Japanese Yakuza Boss Council meeting and needed to perform a quick beheading due to a received racial insult – shirasaya… okay whatever.

i suppose if you’re willing to accept that a halfu could rise to the top of the yakuza, and that lucy liu is in any way capable of playing a martial artist, then i suppose you could believe just about anything.

even that segall can fight :stuck_out_tongue:

there is no reason to have that many roosters unless you are breeding them for fighting.[/QUOTE]

There is also no reason for an APC to bust in, unless these roosters are part of a mexican cartel, suicide ninja bombs, or those super deadly SE asian/filipino roosters with veloceraptor style razor blades dipped in poison

I would sure as hell sue the pants off of a city/county/PD if they took a battering ram so they can stop me from having a bunch of gerbils for pets.

I’m sure there would be some police protocol breaches you could bring up in the case. I base this assumption on the fact that it was led by goddamn Steven Seagal.

I hope the camera are running when Seagal goes after Tyson’s Pigeons. That would be a thing of beauty.

Van damme: I’m in the new Expandable Movie. I get to carry big guns and shoot bad guys

Steven: I’m on a reality cop tv show and i carry guns to kill cock ****ers like you.

Steven Seagal is in that new movie as well. It’s called EXPANDABLE: Gut Instinct

I think it’s pretty cool that Steven defeated an army of 100 criminal fighting roosters. It was most likely a terrifying battle with a storm of flying feathers and barbecue sauce.

Yeah, it’s one cock against 100.
