Pune, June 12: SHUBHANGI Dey, three-and-a-half years in age, has been awarded a 1 Dan Black Belt by the Maharashtra Taekwondo Association at the Black Belt gradation exam, held at Agrik Shikshan Prasarak Mandal auditorium in Dombivli (E), Mumbai, recently.
In the same exam, five-year-old Rajat Rajore received a 2 Dan Black Belt as did six-year-old Rituraj Bhetkari. All three are trainees of the city-based Horangee Taekwondo Academy.

I would like to see how they defense themself against their father when he get mad and pick up belt and carry it toward them. I bet they will try to do block and his father will just grab his arm and lift him off ground and whip his ass up.

I’m sorry Phonenix, but even you have to admit that this is way over the edge. From seeing the past articals on these kiddie black belts I’ve seen many TKD stylists defend these kids. I don’t see them posting now, and coming to these kids defense. And until TKD gets its act together, it will always be the laughing stock of martial arts. Well, besides Capoeira of course, but thats another topic. How can people take TKD seriously when they give out black belts like people give out candy on Halloween.
