See you in Feb.

Was the guy in all white an escaped mental patient or the Good Humor man without his hat?

I’ll glove up and throw hands with you.

Out of all the terrible rolling at throwdowns, this guy instead picks the one with competent open guard.

That obviously can’t be possible.

I’ve always been a man of hard techniques rather than soft.

What the fuck does that mean ?

Excellent. See you in Feb.

Come to the London Throwdown then!

I really want to come, but it depends on how fit and ready I will be by then as well. But I do hope to make it.

I wouldn’t worry about the fitness too much. Everyone spars/rolls at agreed levels so you can take it as easy as you like.

My fitness is by no means great and Xmas boozing is only going to make it worse but I’m still going.

Or I could be wrong, and he’s just a complete idiot.
When in doubt, go for the latter.

Does anyone other than me find this hilarious?

But I do worry. Because you see I have a very inflated ego, and I can’t risk damaging it by losing a fight.

Oh, don’t worry about that. I’m sure your ability to deceive yourself is up to the task of making enough excuses to repair whatever damage your inflated ego suffers.

Yes but we don’t want to live the rest of our lives making up excuses for past failures. I might be arrogant, ignorance and stubborn, but one thing I am not, and I repeat, am not, is stupid!

It’s sparring, not fighting so there is no win or lose. C’mon, it’ll be fun.

And yet, you post stupidly and say stupid things. See? Your ability to deceive yourself is more than up to the task of rewriting a loss as a win.

Yet you fail to understand logic yourself. If, according to you, I do have the ability to deceive myself, it doesn’t mean that you have that ability as well. So give up.

I really want to come, but I’ll still have to think about it and prepare for it. I know you don’t think I need to train, but I do.
