This is a photo of tremendous power. Posted at the request of Apostol.
Where does Apostal factor into this?
He can’t upload images since he isn’t a supporting member, so I uploaded for him.
Why is it called a Sissy squat again? I’m pretty sure I’d break my back doing that…
PL
No idea…
Wounded - Was just wondering, since I guess you couldn’t hotlink the picture over from another server.
I am Cain, I will help you…
Though, with my lack of skill, she could probably take me out!

[in an Austrian accent]
It’s called a Sissy Squat because because little sissy girly-men break their puny little backs when attemting them, even if they are using tiny little poundages usually reserved for the small and weak people like yourself, Mr. punyverse.
Now quit whining and pump some iron before we tie your but-flaps to two trees and use you for a human slingshot.
Are you insulting my father??!?!?
Your father runs that site, does he?
I hope he doesn’t make you do his laundry.
Here comes the pain.
"Oss- Raymond Kuiper (36) practiced several defense- and combatsports. Judo, Taekwondo and the Indonesian combatsport (Geijhan: Combat and defense sports are the literal translation. I’ll sub in MA instead of “combat and defense sport” for the rest of the article.) Pentjak Silat. But none of these sports lived up to his expectations. According to Kuiper, they weren’t complete. He decided to develop a new art, which resulted in Melanda Muda.
Both in his professional and his sports career, Raymond Kuiper didn’t find satisfaction. He was brought up with the idea that he had to work to provide for himself. Living off of welfare doesn’t fit his lifestyle.
He has 2 goals very clearly in mind. Bringing out his own style of music (Geijhan: loser-hop to go with his loser-fu??) and spreading his MA and garnering attention to it by giving lessons to the public. Despite the fact that he doesn’t yet have any degree to teach an MA, Raymond Kuiper feels he gathered so much experience since his youth he can teach his Melanda Muda without any risks. On top of that, he accumulated much experience teaching Martial Arts in Vietnam.
When he was an 8-year-old boy, he joined sportschool Pardoel and practiced Judo for 2 years. When he was 10 he practiced Karate and later Taekwondo. An injury (Geijhan: lack of brain, I presume.) disabled him from practicing sports for 5 years. His drive to return to sports wasn’t big because he found little satisfaction in all of them. This gave him time to think.
“All sports I practiced up to my injury lacked something for me”, Raymond states. “I thought those sports to be artificial, lacking in speed and not based on a psychological basis (Geijhan: Bullshido alarm! It’s the mind warrior!) like meditation and magnetism (Geijhan: Magnetism? Sounds like a great anti-robot MA. If only Sarah O’Connor had known…). What one art lacked, I found [partially] in another one. So I made a combination of Judo, Pencak Silat and my own additions.”
Apart from the abstract parts of Melanda Muda like the very fast movements, the breathing techniques and the getting up without using your hands (Geijhan: No, I don’t know what the big fucking deal with that is either, but that’s what it says.) meditation is necessary for a constant good concentration, which is very important.
“The breathing technique is a vital part of my new MA,” Raymond explains. “proper breathing improves your inner force and calms you. This also revitalizes you, so you can carry on [with what you were doing].”
Raymond is also of the opinion that practicing this sport will also positively influence your daily life. You learn to better defend yourself and so increase your self-confidence. You’ll grow less sensitive to stress and will be better able to handle daily worries. “No, you can’t compare it to yoga,” Raymond notes “my style has a much broader base.”.

Geijhan: The international access code for Holland is ++31, by the way.
Hehhehe, thanks, rep incoming soon.
