My guess on Systema

After long time considering it, my guess on Systema is this:

It has never been created for (empty) hand-to-hand-fights against experienced, tough fighters (Muay Thai/MMA/BJJ-Style)!
This ‘Myth’ had been made up by dudes like Ryabko/Vasiliev to make BIG Dollars/Rubels .

If you look at Systema (and it’s the same with Ninjutsu), it is designed for
killing or disabling armed/unarmed enemies (think taking out so.,etc.) with the use of weapons. 'cause as a spesnaz/omon/kgb-dude you would ALWAYS have a weapon on you (blades especially) - and if not, you would use anything you could get as a weapon (wristwatch, pencil, belt, jacket, cokecan, chair…you name it). I think in this special environment, Systema would work very well.
Empty-handed fighting could have never been the specialty of systema, this shit have been preached on us just 'cause it’s otherwise practically unmarketable.
I’m pretty sure, all Spec Op-Russians know perfectly well Systema could of cause not work against a resisting, tough and talented MMA-type of fighter and they would use Sambo/MMA-type of techniques if they have to in this (unlikely) situation. So they are well aware that Systema is not a complete art and would cross-train Sambo etc.

In short:
So all this Anti-Systema-flag is because Ryabko etc. want to make money big time and so have to use false marketing
/outright lies to make their style appealing to the masses.

What is your opinion on that, my friends?

QFT -

Just incase you missed it.
