My ex bounced out the checking account a week before christmas to the tune of 1600 dollars. She spent the money on Mary Kay supplies for her “business”. She never could figure out why I was upset about that, said that I wasn’t supporting her emotionally… WTF?
Did I mention that she put on a shitload of weight after we got married? She couldn’t stand the way she looked so she dealt with it by doing the most logical thing… she started working out and dieting??? Fuck no! She just decided that she would stop having sex so she would not have to worry about how she looked naked.
I responded by rubbing one out on her toothbrush every now and then just so she would get a taste. Ahhhh this was the high point of that nine year long attempt at suicide the hard way.

My ex and I, while not as amicable as it could’ve been, have reconciled and are quite civil with each other. We just shouldn’t have been married. We’re actually quite civil. I put forth every effort to keep things cool for the sake of the kids. In the end the kids are the only thing that matters, so while I may put up a rant here I would never actually let this spill out into the open for my kids or the EX to see. My children don’t ever need to see me disrespecting their mom, that just would’nt be right.

I had to sit through a parent teacher conference with her this week wherein she launched into this diatribe about how my daughters math homework was incomprehensible even to adults and you aren’t doing your job. The poor teacher is sitting there getting attacked and has this pleading look in her eyes that says “please dear god how can these parrents be so stupid when their daughter is so smart”.
Teacher retrieves a scorecard that shows my daughter was doing above grade level work pretty much across the board.
That is when the term blight came to mind.

After that I asked his friends and family to talk some sense into him before I let him go.
My wife and I agree across the board on how to handle our daughter so my heart goes out to you. I wasn’t there so I won’t take sides but I hate parents that vent their personal insecurities on others through there children.
