is it necessary to make your posts a page long and boring? btw i dont know why but when i hear you talk you seem like a perfect example of mcdojo student that puts too much pride in you martial arts… if your school school is good then it should put up by having some of their students compete in full contact matches…

taking pride in your martial arts i agree but i think too much respect in tma(traditional not total) but i cant say i never stayed in one martial arts for a year so far…
is it that the other dojos around your place are sucky or what, i mean i visited a few of my friends dojangs and they offer black belt in one year too but hey some of them has a chance of winning street fight. while when i was visiting ballys tkd class it really seemed more like cardio kickboxing imo
