You don’t need to train to know that you can tackle people to the ground.
I dont want to start an argument good sir as I know it’ll be off topic, but how many times have you tackled a person you were fighting against in a streetfight? before you did your BJJ training?
I know that you dont need training to tackle somebody. all im saying is that based on my experience here, people dont do tackles or takedowns when they fight.
I hope I have sent my message across without sounding like a smart-ass, mr-know-it-all noob. let’s get back to topic. thanks!

Have you seen a lot of streetfights?
I’ve never been in a “streetfight” but I’m pretty sure the actual street is a useful weapon to apply against your opponent, hence the takedowns.
