Well after returning from my friends golden glove match my mom brought it to my attention that my grandfather that I never new was multiple time golden glove champion in colorado. Neither me nor her know much about him(he died when she was about 3) and I’m interested to know how well he really did.
Does anybody know of a website or other source to look up results from golden gloves tournaments in the distant past?(Don’t know any exact frame of time but I’m betting on 1930s-1940s)

Email your Granddad’s name to these people, they probably have the records. It’s unlikely you’ll find these records archived on an internet database, though.
By the way, Reaper, you’re very lucky to live in CO. Are you very far from the Boulder area?
I don’t live in Colorado, though most my family does, I usually go down and stay for about 2-3 weeks every summer though. When I am there if I stay with my brother I’m in the Boulder area.
Sorry. Should have read your info. Anyway, that email address is from the offical website for the Golden Gloves of America, Inc. (http://www.goldenglovesofamerica.com/). It’s listed under “Franchises” for the “Colorado-New Mexico” division. There is also a “Rocky Mountain” Division so I don’t know which one you should actually contact. Let me know if you find out your GP’s record.
