Hi my name is Marc and I am a film maker and martial artist interested in making an online series about martial arts and competition between them.
I am interested in making my first episode based on Goju Ryu Karate vs. The Keysi Fighting System.
The format of the show will be simple, each practitioner will get 2-5 minutes to discuss and talk about their art or combat system (either live or in interview form talking to sensei’s instructors, etc.) and then a demonstrative sparring match will be performed (in live action, full speed) to demonstrate the effectiveness of the arts in practice.
Headgear and gloves will be worn and it will take place on a mat for two five minute rounds with MMA rules.
I will either provide a Goju Ryu fighter or will act as depending on your confidence in your Keysi skills. In essence it is a fun sparring match to teach others about your combat system.
As long as you can get to Toronto you can be involved in the show.
Thanks and have good day.
According to his profile he is a white belt.
currently yes, which is why I will only do the sparring if it is a similarly noobish keysi person. I should be yellow by the time this happens though or even orange
I’m only looking for keysi fighters for now.

Frankly, free sparring between 2 noobs of any style tends to have a similar look to it in a way that generally doesn’t do the style justice.

Frankly as a white belt you shoudl be focused on learning which is your ass and which is your elbow before you even think of doing a meaningless video sparring session
If you want to challenge christian bale he knows keysi and lives in london. I’m sure he’ll be up to it, since he ‘qualifies’ it up to wing chun standards since that was his last reported style.
There is no Keysi in Canda

as i have stated previously i probably wont be the challenger
The concept behind this thread remins me of the concept behind this thread, and that all turned out fine without any e-drama whatsoever.
Yep and with that, it is now in YMAS. I gave it three weeks. Please don’t make me do some real “stalker” shit by whining about how mean I am.
and now it will survive 2 more days good job
As far as I’m aware threads don’t die after two days in YMAS. It’s not like sending a pensioner out into the desert. If anything once a thread’s been moved into YMAS only then does it get chance to truly flourish and grow into the beautiful swan it was born to be. Well, that or it gets jam-packed full of mud-slinging and shit-posting. Either way it’s what Jesus would have wanted.
