I don’t see him not lifting. I also don’t see him converting that meat into long lean muscle. I doubt he’d put the time in, to evolve as an actual top man, and not PR voila-baby. I don’t see him in a camp, where he’s treated as any old no0b, and forced to learn, I don’t see him as serious about his career in fighting at all.
Also, Lesnar without the muscles and huge weight advantage, removes his best asset, in the cage. Imagine Lesnar vs any top 25 HW, where he’s walking around below 265, uncut. Wrestling pedigree or no, he’d be in the hurt locker, IMO.
He doesn’t have the tools. Some part of me is sad, I’d have loved to see Antonio Silva eat him alive. Not just b/c he ate Fedor, but because he’s just as big, with iron chin, bjj blackbelt, and called him out. That would have been a schooling…utter destruction.
His career would be about over even if he weren’t sick. The Brock Lesnar riddle has been solved already. I could see him getting some more wins by way of bigmotherfuckerness, but I think he’d lose more than he could win at this point. I even think ole’ Frankie would probably beat him in a rematch.
Edit: but I have been wrong before. A couple years ago I predicted he’d run the heavyweight division for a long time. Doesn’t seem to be the case now.

Aside from his first fight, Lesnar’s been up against top competition his whole career, and his only losses are to Frank Mir and Velasquez. I hope he can get over this and come back, always like to see a Brock fight if only because it’s fun to watch all the “hardcore” MMA fans shrieking
