Which Shaolin monks are great fighters? Do any of them have fight records? Are you sure all the training actually makes one a good fighter?

who’s interested first of all?

Why should be listen to you?

I’m interested in proof that Shaolin monks are great fighters.

I’m interested in the parts of this that entails sparring against resisting opponents. You know, to become a great fighter. Otherwise this is like that dude I met at university who insisted he’d be able to learn how to swim by reading a book.

Nope, sadly the bugger didn’t drown. Some eejit rescued him.

There is proof.

It’s recorded on their tombstones.

That said, all those tombstones are very, very, very old.

Shaolin monks did not train in order to become great fighters.

So you present their death as proof of their skill at violence? Does it record the name of whoever killed them? I’d rather learn from him.

It records their valor in military campaigns and forms of civilian defense, particularly fighting pirates, once a scourge of southern China. No different than US warrior tombs at places like Arlington National Cemetery.

Yeah if you want to study piracy be my guest…there really should be a pirate MA.
