My instructor told me about this on monday when I went to see him. I guess it happened last week. It is very sad.
A lot of the instructors and seniors in my network of MA people are very upset. I never had the pleasure to meet, or train, with Larry, but several people I know were pretty close with him.
To many people he was an admirable and innovative martial artist, but to the people who knew him he was “uncle Larry”, and the loss is quite noticeable.
