Done properly Ki breathing can effect you both mentally and phyically. Try this excercise; while doing a mundane task try breathing focusing your breath to a spot located just beneath your belly button. If your chest inflates when you take a breath you are doing it wrong. As you breath count each breath 1,2,3… if you lose count start again. Ki breathing is not done by breathing heavy you should take in air at a steady pace each breath should last for about 3 seconds. It is important to inhale and exhale for the same amount of time 3 seconds in and 3 seconds out. What I found was that while Ki breathing in this way I felt a sense of awareness and I enjoyed the task I was doing. Good Luck!
