I’m new here, so I might be posting this thread in the wrong place. What’s your take on the Krav Maga Federation? As its taught by adherents of the KMF, is this style a truly effective martial art, or just trumped up, popularized, repackaged MMA fighting? Anybody ever train in this style?

I don’t know anything about the styles effectiveness, but i do know that the IDF special forces and Israeli police all train in Krav Maga, so there must be at least some parts of the system that are practical, I did attend a seminar on it once but left when the guy started demonstrating how to disarm a man with a grenande,
