TBK - it has come up many times when people have asked me about why I am out of training, my posting comes in waves or they flat out ask me in a thread. It wasn’t a big secret. You’re right, we are all dying… just until the surgery the doctors thought they knew when I would die. (which was actually over a year ago and since then I had been told I was living on borrowed time and could go anytime)

I had 2 masses growing in my body. One IN my stomach and the other ON my liver. The liver one has been removed. It was the faster growing and more resilient of the two. The other responds better to chemo and other than making it hard to eat and forcing me to eat fattening crap like protien shakes to keep the nutrients in me I need it is not as serious. Another surgery later in the year (when I can get strong enough for it again) and then it will be done.
