well your in a place to provide some insight into this dude, why do the news ppl get it wrong so often?
About 12 years ago, the weather guy came on all the station and said “There is a 20% chance of showers”, but one said 30%. A few hours later, hail came down the size of a baseball (and in some, softball) and did millions of dollars worth of damage to homes, cars, and businesses.
well, thats why they call it a prediction. you wonder why it was only 30%?
i would take both, you could magor in one, but know the others basic moves that you find usful when youspar, (or fight) i’m going to make a prediction, yournever going to find a syle based on one point.
my friend studies bjj, but he said they mostly practic ground fighting. this leaves you more vonerable in your standu up game. i would say take both, study hard in class, than get a group together to study the helpful and usful points ithat are found in both
can also research the moves on the net, and try them out with friends. (what my friend did before joining bjj, still does some.) but you can study striking, and the one of the two you chose not to go to a dojo for.
I would go for Judo. Grest stand up grappling skills to take on the strikers with.
And what if you’re contending against a grappler?
Good lord. Not this again.
Would you rather they make no predictions so you have not idea at all what the weather will be like other than the ache in your knees?
i still say take one and research anouther, training using bother with friends at home. so say, take bjj, but study judo take downs off the internet. then thusly, train with the judo take downs until you can do them secsesfully.
than spar with ur friends using the judo takedowns, than using the bjj ground fighting to tape them out.l although alwys keep and open mind. go reseach on diffrent styles and tech you might want to use.
i’m guessing the one u go to a dojo will make u more skilled with tho
