its not the guys wearing tap out

I was just wondering if any one has ever seen a guy in a tap out shirt actually start a fight in a bar or club , I’ve never seen it but their are so many forums saying other wise. I wear a fair share of mma clothing and had some guy try to start shit with me. He goes “tap out you most think your a fighter”. I said said " thats about right" then he said nothing. He had a friend who said he trained he seemed cool as he ask me questions, but it turned out I had more training than him. I was hearing a tap out shirt and played it cool as I would if I was waering my military uniform.

Shouldn’t this be in YMAS?

Shouldn’t he be doing homework?

well i thought this one cover social issues like this , and it said some thing about alcohol

you sound like a fucking toss. grats.

toss = protoss? or douche?

what does toss mean in NZ?

I’m sure call you people that to their face all the time right. I doubt it.

Not to people wearing Tapout shirts, they’re all a bunch of brain dead nutters who would stab their own mothers without a second thought.

eleetness151, from one fighter to another, you are correct, wearing a Tapout shirt does not mean you’re an asshole…

…but you are wearing an asshole’s uniform.

People don’t wear Tapout shirts because they look good (because they don’t).

They wear them for one of two reasons:

  1. Tapout pays you money to wear one

  2. You want people to think you’re a badass.

Even if you really, truly are a badass wearing a Tapout shirt, you have to be thinking, “Man, I wish those chicks would come up and ask me about my eleet fighting skills. They’ll be prompted to ask me by reading my t-shirt.”

I’m married and my wife was their so I can promise you I wasn’t waiting for some girl to talk to me. I bought my wife the sinster sweat shirt with the anderson spider she likes it and doesm’t like mma, and she is not trying to be a badm ass. I have one too and people think it from the comic book. So much for the trying to look tough thoery.

Evil Solvalou I know you wouldn’t have the balls. Let me guess you started training in 2003 so you had an entire year in before all these posers came around right. Sounds like the pussy at the bar I mentioned that wasn’t ready for me response.

I know you have this whole illiterate thing going on with your atrocious spelling and grammar, but you could at least try to read my style field.

I don’t claim to be a bad-arse or a fighter, and I’ve said multiple times on this forum that I don’t fight and can’t deal with conflict.

I suggest you learn to take a joke, or you’ll have a very hard time here. Learning to type wouldn’t hurt either.

I thought so too…but then I did, and they did, and I got laid. Although it might have been my muscles bulging through the fabric that accomplished that. Or my irresistable charm.

See, I used to sit there and make fun of all the posers wearing tapout, and I still do, but now I wear it as well. The shirts DO look cool and they fit well too, if you’re in shape.

Anyway, I have a few tapout shirts among other fight brands, and I wear’em to the bar or to any place I wanna look cool at. I had a guy come up to me and ask “Does that shirt mean you’re a fighter?” and I said “It might, but then again, I could just be a huge douchebag”.

In addition to those shirts, I have another one that I save for special occasions, like fight events, etc, that I made myself.

It says:

“This Shirt Ain’t Fancy, But I Can Kick YOUR Ass”

In sharpie, only the “YOUR” is red and underlined. It’s my favourite shirt.

The last time we held an event here, I gave one to each of the winning fighters. I intend to do that for every event we put on, and maybe one day, I’ll offer them for sale, for $10, but only to guys who can prove they’ve fought and won in the ring or cage.

I had one other guy say some thing to me , but he is will known for getting his ass handed to him. He was wasted and he can’t even fight sober. I saw him a week later in the same bar and I don’t think he even remembers.

While waiting for Yoga class at LA Fitness, I had a big meathead come up to me and go, “Hey, where did you get that shirt?” I was wearing one of my many black ATT shirts. I told him, “From my Academy, where I trained for 3 years”. He was like you trained there in Florida? I told him affirmative, in Coconut Creek, and then asked him where he trained. He answered, Oh I don’t, just know about ATT on UFC, and then made some excuse to get back to lifting.

I can’t help but think he was trying to punk me out.

it’s a recent trend of wannabe guys wearing tapout shirts with their hat on sideways, it started out small but it’s everywhere now, see it wouldn’t be bad except for the fact that most of them don’t know anything except for what they watch on tv but they exspect you to think that they are badass, it’s the new type of ninjer, it’s just what is considered coool [quote=Pandinha;2274026]While waiting for Yoga class at LA Fitness, I had a big meathead come up to me and go, “Hey, where did you get that shirt?” I was wearing one of my many black ATT shirts. Every one wants to believe you are a bigger pussy than them. Once you respone in a calm matter, not scared but also not attemping to counter intimadate they are confused and start doubting them selfs. Any ways I’m still waiting for a story of a guy in a tap out shirt starting a fight.

Tosser, as in extremely frequent masturbator, or just a general dumbass.

Yea, if you wear something suggestive, be prepared to back it up…
