Is there such a thing as an inescapable submission or pin? If so, then what are they?
The one where the other person falls unconscious…
but in reality I don’t think there is such thing, there might be some with a higher success rate than others but i woudn’t be sure to say that there is one that is ‘inescapable’.
Everything is “escapable” if the guy does it wrong or loose…LOL. If the sub or pin is correct, you should not be able to escape. That is the point.
Attention new person, you posted this in the Advanced Grappling Discussion forum, or AGD. It is the most heavily moderated forum on the site.
General questions like yours do not belong in AGD. Read this before you attempt to post in AGD again:
Read this before posting in this forum - No BS MMA and Martial Arts
Fair warning, if you start a low content thread again or make a low content post in AGD from this point on, I will give you an infraction.
My armbar…
I don’t suppose you could go ahead and do that anyways, given that:
-he’s made three posts
-they’re all new threads
-one was in DHS, one was in Strikeistan
-all three sucked
What exactly is considered a good post or thread?
In AGD, the key is specificity. The more detailed and specific the question or comment, the more likely it belongs there.
So a question like, “How can I overcome the S grip when my training partner is defending the kimura?” is acceptable.
“How do I make my triangle better?” or “Is there an inescapable submission?” are example of questions that belong in the Basic Technique forum, rather than AGD, because they are more general in nature.
So in summary, if you’re trying to refine a technique you already have some skill at, your question might be suited to AGD. If you’re asking how to perform a technique in the first place, it belongs in the Basic Technique forum.
Sorry I posted this in the wrong forum, but then posted another thread in the chinese arts forum, and I was given an infraction. For what? What would be considered an appropriate thread for the Chinese arts forum then? I only asked why china did not develop ground grappling techniques.
This isn’t Judoforum, mate. Asking stupid questions will not draw a lengthy diatribe about why they are stupid from someone with a panel belt and too much time on their hands, they’ll just be ignored and/or used as a springboard for some dubious comedy.
