Iraq veteran Zack Thome saw a robbery in progress at a party store as he walked into a store in his hometown. The alleged robber, Brandon Slanger, was said to be schizophrenic. Thome held him in place as the police arrived. The video also shows that Thome pulled the man into a backmount to control the man and put him on the ground.
