Indigenous Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

I was trying to locate the right forum to put this on, and I guess this as as good as any. I watched a Travel Channel special on the Yawalapati Indians of Brazil tonight. It was fascinating in many respects, but of most interest is that they practice a form of grappling called Huka Huka Wrestling. They certainly aren’t knock down drag out affairs, but it was very interesting to watch.

Some of the guys were pretty muscular, and the scantily clad women also wrestled. Just thought some of you might be interested.

Hey, some of those ladies that do this aren’t bad looking. They wouldn’t be bad to do a little grappling with.

Hey, some of those indigenous gals who practice this wouldn’t be bad to grapple with.:love10:

One of my thoughts was that maybe this is one of those “Amazon” tribes, and this one just didn’t get rid of its men. :waraya
