I work in the Med/Pharmaceutical Industry. I'm a lab rat and enema tester.

Amen… muscle confusion, supersetting (using opposing muscle groups in sequential exercises) as well as starting with low weight and building to your max and down again in say 8 sets, seems to give me the best results. Low and slow is good to start with, but you should increase the weight and speed until you get a five rep max then work the opposite way.

There is no magic bullet for weight training. If you want cut and bulk, go lower weight higher rep. If you don’t care what you look like and want power, go for broke and powerlift. Most of us want to be somewhere in between.

O.K. that’s a cute chart. As a medical professional, I say WTF. Cite your sources with care.

Which are what exactly?

Fascinating… Please, feel free to elaborate.

That must be very interesting work. You’re a physician? Research biologist? Receptionist?

You have 24 hours from the time of this post (10:52 AM EST) to list and corroborate your credentials. Otherwise I will throw each and every of your posts out of the PT Forums.

24 hours. The clock starts ticking now.

— EDIT —

BTW, although cute, the chart pretty much conforms with common knowledge. Take away the silliness, madness and death columns, and everything else is pretty much textbook.

There. Fixed for ya.

There’s a new sheriff in town.

Gracias, Hermano.

He says he’s an attorney and insurance adjuster.

In that case, I’m changing the deadline from 24 hours to 12 hours. I know, I know. The guy is lying, but you know, red tape and procedure and stuff.

You know, Teh El Macho, I find my appreciation growing for people who understand the theory and abstraction of administration and beaurocracy.

You sometimes have to wonder how remedial you’d have to get with some people to make them understand that a network of processes have to satiated in order for wheels to turn in business and government.

I think you’d literally have to start with the signifigance of a birth certificate with some people, and take baby steps from there.

You’re a strange guy Keinhaar.

You should see some of his sociocide posts. very weird guy, one of the best posters.

That was a half digression.

It was my frustration with ghetto culture, as of late, and El Macho got me going with his red-tape comment.

Allow me to generalize.

The true redneck, despite his fundamental similarity to John Q. Ghetto, at least has a nugget of respect for white law enforcement (me), even if HE doesn’t understand “the machine” any better.

Civilized humans will usually say something or imply something to the effect of: “I know you’re just doing your job.” Cuz they’ve been there and done that to some degree. Yeah, sometimes you gotta do unpleasant shit for a boss. Firings, demotions, discipline etc.

There’s that slice of society which is all like: “WTF? Why you gotta do that? Why you gotta do this? I ain’t signing shit! Fuck that! Why you gotta tow my car? That’s bullshit etc etc.”

Part of it is just to be difficult, but it’s so pervasive, and revolves around such similar processes, that I really think some people dont’ understand “paperwork”. It makes sense, though, because I see them petitioning for the public defender. 22-35, doesn’t work, doesn’t pay rent, lives with mom, no assets*, worked last year part time for a couple months. They’ve simply had NO experience with multi-tiered administrative protocols. It’s been a life of impulsivity and hedonism. If you can’t have it, steal it. If you cant’ fuck it, fight it.

*I think they usually say “no” by default, assuming something “complicated” probably doesn’t apply to them. Err on the side of caution.

OK, as a person whose family comes from the inner city, and who spent their younger years there, please allow me to edify you on a couple of things I believe a lack of understanding of which is leading to you having some cross-cultural confusion and angst.

When dealing with people like you’re describing you simply need to keep in mind two basic principles. One, they’re better than you, so whatever rules apply to you or others like you, simply don’t apply to them. Two, they’re owed just about everything, and not just that, but you, personally, owe them something. See, it’s really very simple. If you just keep these two basic concepts in mind, I can assure you you’ll never have anymore frustration.

KH, I know what you are talking about, but fuck dude. That could be misconstrued on so many levels. I don’t want to touch that not even with a 6ft pole.

Why?

As someone who grew up in the type of war ravaged poverty and deprivation that forces people to look for food in garbage dumbs (conditions that will make any deprivations you have experienced in the US pale by comparison) and after seeing my father (one of the most moral, no-nonsense men you will ever meet) suffered all types of unwarranted insults and physical attacks while working as a security officer in Hispanic, African-American and Haitian ghettos, I can tell you categorically that you are just talking rethorical bullshit.

That’s all I’m going to say in this subject. KH, Wizard and everyone else, please keep this discussion out of the PT forums. Keep it here or take it to sociocide.

I think Wizard was talking from the person’s point of view that he was describing. I don’t think he was actually saying “they’re better than you”.

Can someone just ban this guy he’s spamming.
