Honestly, that was my first time seeing Olympic wrestling weights in pounds and not kilograms. That is what peaked my curiosity. Also, being the 185pd Olympic Bronze medalist is an easy enough achievement to find. However, this gentleman’s name has yet to be found. A search for his name does show his multiple MMA fights, it shows nothing about Olympic medals other then the Gamebred website.

Understand something. When you use these credentials as a means of attracting paying customers to your business, you open yourself up for scrutiny. It isn’t anything personal, it’s just the way business is done. When you accept money to teach a certain skill-set, that skill-set is subject review just like a doctor, lawyer, teacher, etc, and so forth.

well i am new there and all i know is they welcomed me with open arms and the coaches are great. they are a gym that trains hard rather than talk hard. so the only suggestion i have the right to give is for you to come by and check it out. hell you might even join… no disrespect

I’m glad Gamebred is your new family, I feel similarly about my own school. Like with all families though it is important to be cognizant of the fact that often our family members can have a tendency to exaggerate. When that ends up as dishonesty, inadvertently or otherwise, it is important to keep in mind that we help them by encouraging them to be honest.

If a gym you just joined has already become your “family” and you’re willing to make threats, juvenile and no doubt empty threats but threats nonetheless, then you’re the kind of insecure weakling that charismatic manipulators thrive on. Keep that in mind before you get too blinded by hero worship.
Being new at my gym, if was saying the stuff eliharris was saying and my coach found out he would probably make funny of me and punch me in the head a few times.
