I’v heard many girls (as much as men) make sexuall comments towards jiu jitsu and other types of grappling. maybe it makes them feel uncomfortable?
You know what else makes them uncomfortable?
women in general dont like to be manhandled you will find more women in martial arts that give them space to fight in. Even some of the harder ones like the Thai and kokushin
MMA Girls exist.
Your argument is invalid.
Then I shall present a new argument. women are all actually doing jelly wrestling.
YouTube - Jelly Wrestling at Birdee Num Num
and must find other forms of wrestling too tame.
The treatment of this topic here at Bullshido is far too mature for a site of this caliber. I mean when this was brought up on the UG at mixedmartialarts.com, there was a far greater level of hilarity that ensued.
What’s going on around here? Mods trying to keep the place respectable? Sheesh. Complete hogwash I tell you.
The answer to the question is simple - pay hot chicks to roll at your gym. And blog about it.
Now on this thread, we want the truth. Even if it includes a large-breasted BDSM working blue belt at ATT that rips off the testicles of teenage boys who would dare to sport wood.
One problem I have noticed with girls trying grappling is that is very hard for one girl to break into what might quite a masculine environment.
It seems like the situation where a core group of girls who are comfortable with the academy is needed to make new and potential nervous members feel more at home.
As has been said earlier a female instructor must be a huge help.
Simple solutions:
- Hire hot models to do BJJ - like Joanne on MMA Girls
- Free pedicure night
- Less teabag kimuras
- Zero tolerance for pervs and their “I’d like to be in her triangle” remarks.

Posts #8 and #9 excised from the same thread as mentioned above. Listed again for clarity: http://www.bullshido.net/forums/showthread.php?t=98060

That’s twice for you, rather uncharacteristic of your normally quality posts.
What gives?

I met her and she scared the *hit out of me. I never ever want to grapple her. Maybe if they banned her from doing grappling events and posting pics of her grappling other competitors on her website more women would join. Oh *uck i’m probably off topic again. My bad…

Just getting the feeling that people are losing their sense of humor a little on this topic. Sure the grappling forum is a little less tolerant of humor, and more on topic, but getting girls into grappling?
We don’t need more “women’s lib empowerment” BS on the topic - they are training partners like everyone else. You build a women’s program around the women who are friends / family of the guys there. That’s fairly obvious. The other posts on this topic to me seem to introduce more of the empowerment attitude and BS.
So I respond with typical masculine humor.
Which gets removed.
WHATAREYOUGONNADO? Haha.
