Most of JFS’s posts read like a bad comic book.

He spars with a couple of (no offense at least you repped) beginners, a BJJ white belt… holds his own… and he’s suddenly “The best fighter in the world” and “Royce Gracie fears me”
I think he might be tough…he’s certainly a big guy…but he talks out his ass all day long.

What’s this about a law suit?
Anthony’s friend apparently made an inaccurate diagnosis of JFS’ mental illness, and JFS seems to think that is reason for a lawsuit…literally one of the dumbest posts I’ve ever seen.

Contrary to popular CMA opinion, “calling out” does not constitute an arguement.
There’s not going to be any lawsuit obviously.
JFS sueing is as likely as Anthony bringing guns and shooting people at a TD. It’s not happening.
But, imputation of an offensive disease on someone is libel per se. So you see actual malice and damages are presumed. So, it’s one of those easier defamation cases to win.

I was just commenting on the state of the law on that particular subject. I don’t know if JFS would be sucessful in a suit, I don’t really want to spend any more mental energy on the topic.

So the only way the lawsuit could succeed is if Anthony knew that JFS USA was not crazy but said he was anyway with the intent of discrediting him. The intent might be there but it is hard to argue knowledge.
As far as defamation is concerned, I don’t know that Anthony’s claims based on an alleged conversation with a professional (some doubts there) caused much defamation. We all knew JFS’s online persona was a bit wacky (but also fun). If there was defamation, I think it was caused by JFS threatening a lawsuit over the claim (which besides being out of character for his online persona kinda does have the appearance of confirming the allegation).
You’re both fucking wrong, and neither one of you can read very well either. I’d understand if you did not understand the jargon of “libel per se” but since I gave you the operative effect of that being the case, there’s no way you can say the things you are saying and have any understanding of the subject matter.
