If you had to choose between the Ap Seogi stance from TKD and the basic Muay Thai kicking stance, which would you choose and why?
In light of previous controversy in this forum with Masta and one of his abortion of a threads, can non-KMA’ists respond?
I’m a former KMAist, and I think they are really just the same. TKD is just like Muay Thai but with trousers on and different rules in the comps. Mav would agree I bet.
No, no you aren’t. You are a martial tourist. A poser. A wannabe martial artist.
No, last time I heard people who’ve trained KMA in the past are ex-KMAists. Which stance do you think is more effective?

How long did you train in a KMA for? Where? When?
Did TKD first, MT later. I still do the MT stance. I like to guard my face.
Kickcacher profile listing TKD, c2004 http://www.martialartsplanet.com/forums/member.php?u=4619
They dislike me over there, so your link is altogether useless.
SO KC can you list for us here all the MA"s you’ve sucked at?
Your internet unskills is your problem not mine matey. Now back to the subject, which stance do you think is more effective?
“Martial Arts Style: Cross Trainer. TKD, kickboxing, Karate, Boxing, Hung Gar & Judo to varying extents.Location: LondonInterests: SocialisingOccupation: Law EnforcementGender: Would rather not say”
Am I to understand that you are being less than forthcoming with your KMA background? Which school? What years?
Yes, there is no requirement for me to do that. You are attempting to troll but alas you are just looking like a an egotistical tosser so please desist for your own sake.
So you are refusing to state your qualifications despite the fact that are setting yourself up as a criticl of martial artists. Then you are full of shit. You are bullshido. You are the very thing this website was set up to out. Now, stop dodging the questions.
Which schools did you attend and during which years? Starting from your first martial arts lesson to tonight.
I’ve never trained KMA.
The MT guy has his chin tucked. His hands and arms are in such a position that covering/blocking requires minimum of movement and reaction time. His knees are bent and he’s on his toes. The guy is a coiled spring.
The TKD guy has his chin in the air. His hands are too low and his elbows too far away from his body, making reacting with a block/cover so much more difficult (and unlikely to succeed). His knees are straight and he’s flat footed. This is not a ready fighting stance.
Clearly these two stances are nothing alike whatsoever. and although I enjoyed his comics Kickcather is an idiot for even saying that. I think he should probably stick to the humourous artwork and leave the serious critiques to someone else.
As Maverick should be quick to point out, if you have never studied KMA you are therefore not qualified to critique it. Please stop posting in this thread. Thanks.
What are you qualifications?

Why are your threads as bad as your comic?
Which one do you hink is the worst mate, and why?
Ranking things by their lack of quality is a waste of time.
