This him? These look like just replacement certificates. Still, he is potentially setting up frauds by selling instructor level certifications.
Um no;
You look it up
You post the proof
You read the how to bring this forward
You need to learn how to capitalize.
I see he is selling replacement rank certificates, not some type of home-study martial arts program.
“This auction is for a replacement Shotokan Karate certificate…this is meant to REPLACE your existing certificate or if your school does not give them out. These are professionally done and will be on parchment card stock 11x14. We can also use your school name insted of the one on the certificate if need be. Also we can sign or you may have your instructor sign…”
This is his disclaimer:
“Please if you are not a True Martial Artist ,please don’t bid!”
If he runs a Kenpo Academy what is the Shotokan connection?
Okay when I type in “Shotokan Karate Certification” at ebay.com I get 0 results found.
No one is going to take your post seriously if you are all angry and screamypants.
First of all, since you want someone’s perceived shady dealings brought to light, the burden is on you to provide the evidence and do the research. You can start off by talking about your dealings and experiences, and how you came in contact with Mr. Whelan in the first place.
For context: http://www.ikkakenpo.com/josephwhelan.htm I do enjoy portraits in fire.
I assume the practice that you are referring to is this? http://www.ikkakenpo.com/membershipandservices.htm
not all are replacement he actually has some kind of kenpo cert award in his store and for a guy to run a so called association its a shame.
How do you know?
No he is not a rank mill. He holds a 6th dan only in American Kenpo. He runs a side business of printing REPLACEMENT certificates, in case your originals are burned or otherwise destroyed. Mine were all ancient from the days when line printers were used to create the text. over the years, UV pretty much faded them out to oblivion. so I ordered some replacements. They were extremely high quality, hanko’s and everything. Major point, I had to prove who I was, and upon their investigation and contact with my old teachers, It was then I got the certificates. their actual website is ikkakenpo.com look them up sometime.
