I saw some of the poasts concerning this art. And i was a little supprised with what was sead. Mostley negitive. Attitude concerning henry lee,Bs instructers,Half assed sparing, etc. first off i studyied for 3 years 7 days a week (the reasions i dont now were personal) but i never experienced bad training. Infact it was the best training i have ever had. not just a cardio work out like most ma these days, extencive ground training, joint locks breaks, verry good techniques,weapon training etc. As some of you know the internal politics seam strange but the effectiveness of this art shuld not be diminished. To extinguish any BS about henry lee i was luckey enough to train with him personally for a weekendhehasa intimidating demeanor and he does push students very hard but i think that anyone who is serious in training would appreciate being pushed to your max. We all went out to eat and drink after everynight and he was just a regular guy (who could lay a beetdown on someone 3times his size) i feal i need to wright this because hwarangdo needs to get the credit it deserves :angry7: :angry7:

What many people were saying was it has turned into a MCDojo. I trained about 2+years in the early 90’s. No kids, no made up art of Tae Soo Do (which indirectly hits Tang Soo Do), no drama. If you read there are specific teachers still respected many of which have been disowned by the orginization.
Place when, who, where you trained it may explain your positive experience. Like Ken Corona he has an extensive MA backgroung in Judo and other MA. He mixes that in with his HD training. This is an exception not the rule.
If anyone thinks the public school system isn’t in trouble, I direct them to lowdown’s post.
