How to train for iron fists?

Does any1 here train their knuckles/spearhand/ox jaw/whatever to break river rocks or at least hit heavy bags barefisted? How do you do it safely? I have a Wavemaster (original) with a bunch of ankle weights stuffed inside the upper “bag” part so it feels heavy and I can hit that with power now. But I had all kinda scars and injuries in the 2 yrs since I started doing that and knuckle pushups (I’m up to 110 of’em now) and i’m wondering if there is any safe effective way to get tough hands. Like the dude that started Goju krotty. Punching trees and such seems a little extreme.

Don’t know. Never been attacked by tree.

True dat. Word life.

Training Iron palm or anything similar is very dangerous without a qualified instructor.

Qualified instructors are pretty hard to come by.

Where in NC are you located? I might be able to offer a recommendation.

I have, multiple times. But, I’ve never been attacked by multiple trees at the same time.

Wouldn’t an attack by a single tree with multiple, swinging branches feel like an attack by multiple trimmed down trees??? :eusa_thin

i can break rocks with my dick. does that count?

The tree isn’t an endurance fighter, one (maybe two) attacks and they gas.

If you have video.

I can beat down on my 100lbs heavy bag. bare handed. No Problem. So far I can only do 50 knuckle push ups on carpet. Guess that makes me a pussy compared to you!:binkybaby

What surface do you do your thang on?

He-Man needs to lay off the roids.

The most volnurable targets are found on which part of the tree?

Basically, you hit hard things, repeatedly, and continue this routine for a long time whilst eating and weight lifting. This will increase your bone density, I’ve heard.

Personally, I just started hitting the 100lb bag and going from there to breaking and then power-breaking. Never had any proper instruction, but now I am training for my first competition. Preferred striking surfaces for me are palm, knuckles, forearm, and elbow.

Whatever targets they make boards out of. Even a no-practice beginner with a lack of self-preservation can go through one.

Dude…you can do some serious long-term damage if you don’t know what you are doing.

Do you finger jab a tree? I don’t get it.

You could. But thats just too hardcore for one mortal.

Yeah don’t give advice…you heard. We can argue IP training all day. They guy has already said he has scarred his hands the damage may already be done. Stop watching Kung Fu movies and find a real teacher.

But I do know what I am doing, I am putting my hands and elbows through stacks of concrete. Care to explain of this long term damage? The Chinese aren’t the only people who ever learned how to break things bare handed.

Did you just ask me to explain how putting your hands and elbows through “stacks of concrete” might cause long-term damage?

Hey, I don’t give a fuck what you do to yourself, but you’re going to be pretty pissed off if you can’t hold on to your dick in 20 years.
