Cooper’s is pretty good IMO (though I prefer the green label, their pale ale IIRC). It’s the only real aussie beer you can get around here (outside of the sub-standard Foster’s, don’t even get me started on that piss).
It also always reminds me of DAYoung, it’s his favorite brand…

I had Snowcap at the Pyramid Brewery that they “messed up” and made with a higher alcohol content. WOOOHOOO!!!

Wow, I can’t imagine what a “mess up” would be, Snow Cap is already a bit over 7% alcohol.
It was 10 or 11% . It was about 9 years ago , I remember it like it was yesterday. Although i don’t remember much after that.
Working on cars or around the garage and in the pool , cold beer in a can works fine, hanging around the bars or in the house, long necks are hard to beat. Those foam cups always suck and the plastic cups are not much better.
Cold beer from the can is ok working outside or being on the beach. Indoors prefer beer from the bottle, preferably cold into the glass/mug. At the pub/ restaurant prefer draft into a COLD mug…
Too yucky for me. I like my beer to have flavour, but not ass-flavour. See if you can get some Crown Lager imported, it’s t3h g00d sh1t. Or even a VB or Cascade- I’d much rather drink those than a Cooper’s. VB’s pretty average.

I miss VB, I practically lived on that stuff the couple times I was down in OZ. Interestingly, a friend of mine gave me a nice beer mug with the VB logo on it:

Funny thing is, he got it in Japan (where they do sell VB) but the mug was actually made in France (stamped into the glass on the bottom)! Weird…
Yes, that is my favourite. Other canned beers (at least in Canada) just aren’t as good. Otherwise, as drink as cold as possible straight out of the bottle and repeat as necessary!

I had a Bud and found it excellent. When I inquired about other American beers I was told not to bother.
