n00b…please refer to the Newbie FAQ above, specifically:
- No posting links, pictures, etc without bringing some analysis or commentary to the table. A huge picture with the caption, “Discuss”, or, “What do you think?” is unacceptable. Any monkey can find MA stuff on the web and post it.
An example of something more acceptable would be, “Could someone please explain what this guy is doing at 1:25 of this video”. Or, “This guy gets completely destroyed. What do you all think he could have done differently?”.
This rule also applies to posting links. Most of us have a real life outside Bullshido. So don’t post a whole bunch of links without at least briefly explaining why we should visit each site, for example “For Frank Dux’s latest claim that he earned the Medal of Honor see . . .” Otherwise the poster is obscuring facts not illuminating them.
I’ll provide the interesting framework for the article: In it Phil claims that he quit his Wing Chun school, not because of Wing Chun, but because his instructor was encouraging sparring, tournaments, hard contact and physical conditioning.
Quite the guy to shy away from conditioning.
Hers’s i guy that states he can co the physical conditioning on his own time and his own dime, that does not seem to work, Competetion “NO, Thanks” Besides if he stands there a lets a guy blast him in the face how long of a competetion road does he have?
Why is this in Trollshido?

|____That’s why.
harsh. give a guy a break.
I’ll move it out if the OP goes back and provides some commentary on the link in his post.
I grappled with my decision for a long time.
There! Proof Phil does grappling!
I skimmed the article:
-
Responding to his bullshit is like hitting the broad side of a barn with a gatling gun.
-
I respect his Sifu more for having given him the boot. We should invite him over.
If we do, I should apologize for accusing him of licking his current instructor’s asshole. In hind (HA!) sight, that was excessive.
That wasn’t me, so I have nothing for which to apologize.
I tried very hard to be the student I thought my Sifu wanted me to be, hurting myself by refusing to quit when I went beyond my physical limits. One evening I came home so bruised and wracked with pain that I couldn’t go to class for the rest of the week.
Ah ha ha ha ha! The truth of the matter is, Wing Chun class punked Phil!
This is awesome! Wing Chun drills and non resistive sparring took Phil out of commission for a week!
Why does he think he could deal with someone actually assaulting him again?
