He may have fought for an enemy of the United States and may even have been the most stubborn, deluded asses to ever wear a soldier’s uniform, but fighting on and evading his enemies for more than 30 years in the jungle is a feat few in this age could dream of surviving, and worthy of respect from all who would dare call themselves “warriors”.
