???
No, this is not how it is done.
You must write a full review of this school. Pros, cons, blemishes everything; not some short sentence that describes absolutely nothing. You do your school no justice, and will probably just give it negative publicity. I know I’m never going there (combined with the myriad of reasons I have after visiting your website).
Also if you get the chance I would be curious if you could extrapolate on Sensei Jeremy Brzostowski’s lineage and experience. On your website he is listed as a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, among others. I have yet to find any mention of his BJJ experience (though I did find a fight record of 0-1-0) on the web though this certainly does not discredit him.
Read this before you write your new review as well (if you indeed come back):

Again, you are doing it wrong.
Yum yum
I will consider further detail when I have time.
Sensei JB is not employed by my studio. Read carefully.
Thanks for living up to all of my expectations.
Mas is correct in his judgment of your review. Read the stickies about making a proper school review or all of your dojo reviews will end up here with the rest of the shit threads. Not trying to be mean, just stating the fact that there are standards that we do our best to enforce.
For what it’s worth
So scorn me. I never represented that I teach BJJ or my school as “grappling” on this thread. I was very honest in my original review of my school, scoring mostly 5 and 6s. I didn’t have time to write an appropriate introduction, so I blew that part off temporarily until I had time to research it. I got dissed minutes after I posted. My bad, I didn’t look up to see/smell the vultures circling my sorry carcass.
As for the BJJ person on my website, I felt it was inappropriate to bring his ass into these forums for some one else to chew on and then expect a lame-o “stand-up” like me to launch some kind of a defense. I probably wouldn’t list his damn credentials right anyway. And then the round robin starts, with others chiming in to hit me with nasty varrots. I may be “doing it wrong” but my initial desire was to do it right. I simply made the mistake of not realizing the vast number of critics out there ready to nail a new threader. I didn’t expect to get too much support here, but I enjoy learning things off the boards. Some things I wander on are really good. (And some are useless, like my:biggrin: thread).
Whatever, someone new will register and then I will be old news, won’t I? But let me thank you for your help in seeing my utter folly and stupidity. Almost as good as getting choked out.
I never implied he was employed with Hidden Path Arts, I was just asking about his lineage and experience. I think that is a completely legitimate question, especially since he is ‘presented’ by the school.
