Yeah, go watch some Ong Bak now and stop pesting me.
Shinobi No Mono
Yeah, typo there…
This is YMAS bound. Someone needs to help you with yer NINJA history.
I call troll
If I recall correctly, the term “Ninja” - along with the image of the black-clad saboteur sneaking in the night - arises from Tokugawa-era theater.
The main reason that arts like Ninjutsu and Taekwondo get beat up on here, besides the prevalence of weak training in those circles, is the lengthy and obviously falsified histories those arts have concocted for themselves; e.g., Togakure-Ryu having a Ryuha that dates toseveral hundred years before the concept of Ryuha in Japanese martial arts, and having no documentation thereof, and going from being virtually unknown to being tought in every stripmall in America in a matter of decades.
Ong Bak rocks!!!
Flying, double knee to the head, comin’ at ya!
OHHH Yeah, YMAS! Sweet!
Yo TheFasma4! Don’t be such a larper!!:ninjafigh
Did this just get moved to YMAS?
CRY “HAVOC” AND LET LOOSE THE DOGS OF WAR!
Just out of curiosity, where can legit historical information on ninjas be found? Whenever I try to find some the articles I find inevitably cites Ashida Kim as a source.
Prove it.
I believe it was hollywood that created the ninja phenomenon.
It’s sad to see this magnificent martial art being humiliated by american “Ninjers” just for the sake of money.I would really want to see how Ninjutsu is taught in Japan, if they keep the same principles as the ones mentioned in Japanese history.
I must say you are the first one to have a decent chat with, around here.
Ninjutsu doesn’t exist. If it ever did, it’s a dead art now with no living practitioners known to the modern world.
Ninpo History by Mr.Shoto Tanemura.
Read the book, then play smart-ass. :byewhore:
Try again. Show me the proof.
It does, but its not as it used to be.Martial arts change, as war changes.Instead of defending against Naginata, we have to defend agaist firearms. You see my point?
And yes, no one is gonna climb to the roof with a black uniform. It just doesnt work anymore.Todays “Ninjas” are James Bond style.
The 1980’s Ninja Crazy had a big part in popularizing Ninjutsu, but again, if I recall correctly, there was another “Ninja Craze” earlier in Japan - I believe in the 1960’s. I recall hearing it was spurred on by the first James Bond films, but I need to check into that.
I need to dig around for a while before I can make a full reply, and I have to go to the gym right now. I’ll hopefully have a bigger post up this evening/late afternoon.
Ninjas never wore black costumes, that’s a modern western myth. Your ignorance is showing.
Are you also insinuating here that your “ninjer-jutsu” style has adapted to defend against firearms?:
Don’t scoll me on what i do.The black uniform was a hollywood example.
And yes, thats what i say.
Are you sure? Methinks you don’t know what you are talking about.
Now the overhyped BS is directly related (not all the blame but a large percentage) to Hollywood.
Don’t try to change what you said. You said that “it doesn’t work anymore” which directly implies that at one point, ninjers dressed in black and climbed walls.
Prove that your lineage goes back to the r34l ninjas.
